So what’s the go, are these upgrades going to happen, Jack? I can’t wait to get my card and be able to play better games too
I am definitely going to need a better processor then the Pentium D I have so I may look into the Penryn, that Intel is releasing soon, if they are not that expensive.
Look into the 8800GT that Nvidia just released. They have pretty good performance and are pretty cheap.

So you are holding off to see what the whole Penryn/Phenom release does to the market? That’s a wise choice. Also, I have ordered an 8800GT, it was cheaper in AUD than an 8800GTS (320MB), that’s just crazy
Crysis looks rather violent, I’m not into the whole First Person Shooter genre at all. (Although I did enjoy Duke Nukem 3D, and Wolfenstein, a few years ago). I find I enjoy Oblivion, a really interesting game, I’ve bought the “Game of the Year” edition which has all the expansion packs included, so I’ll get into them once it’s on my new rig. This game is a little violent, but also has plenty of interactive options other than “BANG!”
Sounds good Troy. I have heard a lot of people playing Oblivion, It is kinda like WoW right. Do you play any RTS (Real Time Strategy) games like Ages of Empires or StarCraft?
