If you have been following the format war for the past month HD DVD has been going down hill slowly with compinies pulling out of the HD DVD format. The final straw for HD DVD was Toshiba rumored to retire the format. Yesterday, the 19th, Toshiba finaly made the statment to prove the rumors true saying, “it will no longer develop, manufacture, or market HD DVD players and recorders.”
